Is Movoo available on iPhone?
No. Movoo is an Android app (Android 11 or newer), compatible with Android Auto. No date is planned for iPhone. The movoo.eu website, however, opens on any computer to plan your trips.
Is Movoo free? Is there advertising?
Yes, free during the beta, and there is no advertising during this period. A free account saves up to 5 trips in the cloud, each up to 4 days with 6 stops per day. The route planner on the website works even without an account. Later, to cover running costs, discreet non-personalised advertising may appear on free accounts: never any tracking, never any resale of your data. A paid plan that removes it is being considered.
In which countries does Movoo work?
In Western Europe: Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland and Austria.
What do you do with my data?
Only what is needed to run your account: no advertising trackers, no resale, no profiling. Group messages and convoy positions are end-to-end encrypted. To know where our visitors come from, the site only counts, per day, the visits arriving through each campaign link (TikTok, Facebook, press…): no cookie, no IP address, no identifier.
Does Movoo show speed cameras?
According to each country's law: camera positions in Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg and Portugal, danger zones in France, nothing in Germany or Switzerland. Never when hiking or cycling.
What about without a network?
A planned and saved trip stays available: route, elevation, road signs, speed limits and GPS guidance. The background map, calculating a new route and search need a connection. In an emergency without a network, your SOS waits for the network to return and can be relayed over Bluetooth to your group members within range. Always call 112.
Does Movoo show fuel prices?
Yes, in a fuel station's details, for stations in France only.
Can I get guidance from the website?
No: guidance happens in the app. Plan on the website, ride with the app.
How do I install Movoo?
Movoo is in closed testing on Google Play. Become a Pioneer: we add the email address of your Google account (the one used for the Play Store) to the testers list and you receive the install link.
